Ram engineers continue to work on new twin-turbocharged pickup trucks. A test vehicle of the 2025 Ram 1500 Limited was spotted near the company's headquarters in Auburn Hills, Michigan. The truck pictured appears to be an earlier pilot model, as it is equipped with 22-inch Laramie Sport wheels and Hemi eTorque badges on the hood. However, it is already known that the Hemi V8 will be replaced by a new 3.0L Hurricane I6 Twin-Turbo.

Anyway, an updated front end design with a new larger textured grille, raised RAM logo and new power telescoping mirrors found on Ram Heavy Duty models gives the new Ram 1500 a more rugged appearance. New premium LED headlights are standard on Limited trims and above, and LED taillights will be available across the lineup and include blind spot monitoring features.

For 2025, the Ram Limited comes standard with the new 3.0L Hurricane High-Output (H/O) Straight-Six. It produces 540 horsepower and 706 Nm of torque. The start of production of the updated 2025 Ram 1500 is scheduled for Monday, February 5th.
